Description
This invitation suite design is inspired by seigaiha, a traditional stylized Japanese wave pattern, rendered in brilliant gold foil on rich navy blue paper stock. The brush script and lightly stylized, modern sans serif type are both in keeping with the Seigaiha pattern, and because they are not too ornate they balance the look of the invitation.
Because of its proportions, this design is perfect for invitations with a lot of text, or couples with less text who prefer a more spare, open aesthetic.
The enclosure cards, which are digitally printed (but can be upgraded to letterpress or foil by request), are printed in navy blue ink on cream/off-white paper, and can also feature an illustration of two koi fish, representing the happy couple, swimming in tandem.
Additionally, the design features optional envelope liners which feature the same wave pattern, lapping at the flap of the envelope.
Recommended word count for invitation card: up to 80 words.
